Established 2019
System Ashfield began when our founder, former colocation technician Min-jae Ashfield, watched miners in the Gyeongsang region ship Antminer batches to overseas hosts without verifying power draw against contract tiers. Two clients lost deposits when their units exceeded the kWh allocation they had signed for. Min-jae opened a small bench lab in Nam-gu to run independent measurements before shipment.
By 2021, word spread through Korean mining communities and Singapore-based operators routing hardware through Busan port. We expanded from single-unit checks to batch assessments and added facility matching consultations for first-time hosted miners.
What We Do Today
We remain a bench lab, not a hosting broker. Our technicians measure hashrate, log wall-power draw, and document rack fit for ASIC models commonly accepted in hosted programs — Antminer S19 and S21 families, Whatsminer M30S and M50 lines, and select Avalon units at 0.05 TH/s and above.
We do not sell hardware, operate mining pools, or receive referral fees from hosting facilities. Reports are paid for by the miner requesting them.
Our Approach
Every assessment follows the same sequence: intake call, documented burn-in, signed report. We do not inflate pass rates to please sellers or hosts. When a unit fails thermal thresholds or draws above its label, we say so plainly.
Clients receive raw data alongside our summary so they can share logs with their hosting provider or resale buyer.

Accuracy over speed. We would rather delay a report by one day than ship numbers we have not verified twice. Transparency in limitations — we assess hardware, we do not guarantee hosting profitability or pool performance.
